My heart cry to the lord
Saves to serve
Luke.4.38 – 19 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her. And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
Life is give and take. The fallen nature only wants and never willing to give back and serve. When Jesus entered the house of Peter and healed the wife’s mother of great fever – not just ordinary fever, in appreciation, she rose up to minister back unto them.
Most time, when we are desperate and we want urgent breakthrough and miracle, we tie ourselves with an oat, telling God, “If only you can heal me of this infirmity, I will in return do this for you! We tell God, if only you make this happen, I will in turn do so and so” Most often the moment God perform His own part we forget to do our own part!
Many of us, our prayer is typified of noting but demanding God to run errands for us. We place demands on Him to do everything for us. He is a loving Father, and He is committed to our welfare. However, maturity is going to the Father in prayer place and asking Him to give you an allocation in the body. Maturity is standing up and ministering back as a form of gratitude in appreciation of what he has done for you! We must put it to heart that God also have a need! The creator of the universe most of the time needs us to also run errands for Him.
What can you do in the body of Christ?
Simeon’s wife’s mother ministered to them; in what area can your gifts and talents benefit the body of Christ?
What can you pay back to your community?
My Heart Cry To The Lord
Father I am sorry for my negligence to minister effectively with the body of Christ
Lord I ask for abundance of grace to use my gifts and talents effectively in ministering
Bring me to the point of maturity to touch other lives around me positively
Let me always know, I am alive to minister to others, I am save to serve!
Empower me to be a blessing every where I get to. Everywhere, every time, let my life count in the hand of God.
